About Miss Julie

Miss Julie is a Trent Hills, Ontario–based educator with over 20 years of teaching expertise in music, academic tutoring, and creative learning for children of all ages. 

She holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology and Instructional Design, a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies (Elementary and Special Education), and a TEFL certification.

Julie teaches private music lessons in guitar, piano, ukulele, singing, songwriting, music production, and a variety of other instruments. Her warm, encouraging, student-centered approach helps learners build strong musical foundations while nurturing creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. Whether a student is picking up their first instrument or exploring advanced creative skills, Miss Julie tailors lessons to their goals, interests, and learning style.

In addition to music, Julie offers individualized K–12 tutoring across core subjects. Drawing from her extensive background in both private and international schools, she supports learners from early elementary through high school—helping them strengthen academic skills, develop effective study habits, and rediscover confidence in the classroom.

Whether working through melody or math, rhythms or reading, Miss Julie blends creativity, structure, and play to make learning engaging, accessible, and empowering for multilingual learners, neurodiverse students, and young scholars alike.
